Who We Are
We exist to glorify Christ by making disciples that live to serve Him. We aim to be a mission minded, Bible believing, house of prayer.
Originally organized as a Sunday School in 1872 by David Turner Dye, we are a non-denominational church that emphasizes expositional Bible preaching, missions, prayer, and discipleship. We would love for you to come and join us as we gather to worship the risen Savior and to “equip the saints for the work of ministry”.
What To Expect?
Our service is typically about 65-70 minutes long.
We have nursery for ages 0-2 and child care with Bible lesson for children aged 3-4. If you prefer to have your children remain with you throughout the worship service, this is also fine. The doors to the sanctuary remain open throughout the service to allow for parents to easily slip in or out during the service if necessary.
Our worship service is a Word-centered, and Word-driven service. Because of this, we have a blended style of worship music, which may vary between traditional or contemporary from week to week. Every service includes public Scripture readings and prayer (1 Timothy 4:13) along with an expositional sermon (2 Timothy 4:1-2). Our goal is to preach the Word, pray the Word, sing the Word, and live in obedience to the Word.
Most of our folks dress casually, but you’ll be comfortable in any attire.
